Sun!

It's said in Ireland (and south Florida, apparently) that if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes. This morning it was drizzling and cold, but I had had enough of my cabin fever, and I was determined to take a walk. I took my camera with me, and after about 20 minutes my body had adjusted to the cold.

Onward to Shop Street, where I'd heard there's a Saturday open air market. But I think I heard wrong--either the wrong street, or perhaps it wasn't running today because of the weather. At any rate, it started to warm up, so some more exploring was required.

Getting the windows ready for St. Patrick's Day

I was this close to grabbing a burger at McDonald's, when I saw a group of people go into Sweetie Pies. I'm glad I followed them in.

Actually, those baked goods looked great, but I'm trying to refrain until I am able to get a little more active. So I had a nice lunch there, then headed back.

And will you look at that? A bit of sun peeked through the clouds.
